Andrew Bronwin & Co and Abbey Forestry merged in 2021 to form Bronwin & Abbey and offer forestry management services throughout the UK, with a focus on Wales, the Marches and Midlands. Between them the two companies have been delivering professional forestry management services for over 50 years and together have a wealth of forestry expertise and experience.
The company prides itself on offering a bespoke service that accommodates every individual owner's requirements. We recognise the importance of making woodlands profitable and have a proven track record in maximising returns from timber sales and grants as well as a good knowledge of the newly developing carbon and natural capital markets.
Our forest managers are all Chartered Foresters, or working towards professional membership, with the Institute of Chartered Foresters. The company offers UK Woodland Assurance Scheme (UKWAS) certification through its group scheme audited to Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) standards. We are also certified to ISO 14001 (environmental management), are members of the Forest Industry Safety Accord (FISA) and registered as a project developer with the Woodland Carbon Code.
As well as providing forest management services our team members have specific skill sets that enhance our offer to clients including arboriculture, forest valuations, GIS mapping and timber harvesting and marketing. We ensure we match these skills to your requirements.
We believe forestry is set to flourish in the coming years and would very much enjoy being part of your journey to realising the financial, environmental and social contributions forestry and woodlands can make to your business.
