The company has a reputation within the forestry industry for the professionalism of its work, its capacity to deliver a work programme on time and to budget with an ability to enable an owner to realise diverse woodland management objectives.

Established in 1996 we have a wide range of clients in Wales, England & Scotland. They include private Estates, absentee woodland owners, local authorities and NGOs. At the heart of the client portfolio is the management of private Estates. These estates are often multi-purpose, have numerous stakeholders with very complex forest structures. Our success is reflected by the long-term nature of our involvement in many Estates. On these properties, we prepare budgets, implement agreed work programs, employ and supervise contractors and negotiate with the relevant government organizations.

Acknowledging the difficulties of making some woodlands profitable, our woodland management focuses on keeping costs to a minimum whilst maximising returns from timber sales, on site added value, and Government grants. Our ability to do this effectively is due to our access to many alternative markets. These enable us to co-ordinate the sale of a variety timber where others may struggle to find appropriate outlets.

The company employs a team of qualified forest managers based in Powys (Wales), and covering all of Wales, and the border counties.

Managers are professional members of the Institute of Chartered Foresters (ICF). We provide up to date and accurate advice; we utilise the latest technology to provide clients with accurate information; we are in touch with current UK Government and Welsh Government policies; we deal regularly with existing and developing timber markets; we are informed about disease and climate change implications and we are expert at deriving the best value from forestry grant schemes.
